Equipment characteristics

1. After the ion exchange resin is used for a long time, the resin will be pressed more and more tightly, the water inlet pressure will be greater, and some low-strength resin will be broken, and the gap between the resin will be smaller Backwash the resin.

2. After using the resin for a long time, there will be certain sludge impurities on the resin layer. These impurities will cause pollution and blockage of the resin, and need to be backwashed to remove impurities.

3. As mentioned above, the resin with low strength will be broken. Backwashing can remove the broken resin and effectively reduce the resistance to water ingress.

Resin backwash method:

1. Inlet water from the bottom of the ion exchange column, and outlet water from the top, backwash the resin until the product water is clear.

2. The flow rate of backwashing is generally between 5-10m / h, and the flow rate will be different according to different resin types.

3. The general backwashing time is between 30-40 minutes, the amount of impurities is different, the cleaning time is also different, subject to the water production situation.

4. After the backwashing is completed, the resin needs to be left for a period of time, usually 5-10 minutes, so that the resin can form a uniform structure.


Application

It is the most widely used in water treatment. Especially necessary equipment for making high-purity water. Ion exchange is carried out by ion exchange resin in the electrolyte solution, which can remove various anions and cations in water, and is an irreplaceable means in the current process of preparing high-purity water. Ion exchangers are divided into cation exchangers and anion exchangers. When the raw water passes through the ion exchange column, the cations and anions (HCO-plasma) in the water are exchanged with the H + ion of the cation resin and the OH- ion of the anion resin in the exchange column, so as to achieve the purpose of desalination. The different combinations of positive and negative mixed columns can make the water quality meet higher requirements.

Resin tank is the equipment used for boiler water treatment. The resin tank is used to remove calcium and magnesium ions in the water. It is a device that softens the water. The softened water tank is a container for storing demineralized water. It is relatively large, so it and the resin tank are placed next to the boiler room for easy use and management.

The brine tank is used in conjunction with a sodium ion exchange resin tank. The sodium ion exchange resin can remove calcium and magnesium ions in the water by exchange. After a period of time, the sodium ions on the sodium ion exchange resin have been exchanged, and the brine The brine in the tank regenerates the sodium ion exchange resin, and the regenerated sodium ion exchange resin can restore its exchange capacity and continue to be used. When the salt in the brine tank is used up, the regeneration salt should be replenished in time.
